Built around the UK employee lifecycle
From contracted hours and availability through to holiday entitlement and final payslip, WorkSchedule handles the day-to-day rota mechanics most UK employee scheduling tools either skip or charge extra for.
- Contracted hours per employee — the rota knows when someone is over or under
- Availability windows submitted by staff and approved by you
- UK statutory 5.6-week holiday tracking
- Time-off and unavailable days flagged on the weekly grid
How it differs from US-style scheduling tools
Most "employee scheduling" software is built for US shift work — bi-weekly pay periods, no statutory holiday, no Working Time Directive. WorkSchedule is UK-first: Monday-start weeks, 48-hour week warnings, 11-hour rest gap, weekly rest day, and under-18 limits — all baked in.
Employer-grade controls
Four user roles — Owner, Admin, Scheduler, Viewer — let you delegate rota duty without giving away billing or HR data. Multi-workplace support means a single account can run several venues.

FAQs
Is this the same as employee scheduling software?+
Yes — "employee rota" is the UK term for what the US calls "employee scheduling". WorkSchedule does the same job, built for UK employers.
Does it track holiday entitlement?+
Yes. WorkSchedule tracks the UK statutory 5.6-week entitlement and any extra you offer, and counts taken days against each employee.
Can I limit who can publish the rota?+
Yes. The Scheduler and Admin roles can publish; Viewer cannot. Owner has billing and HR access on top.
Will it integrate with my payroll?+
WorkSchedule exports total hours per employee per week as CSV, which most UK payroll providers (Xero, BrightPay, Sage) accept.
