How to see your shifts
Your manager publishes the rota in WorkSchedule. You get an email with a sign-in link. Open it on your phone, set a password, and your shifts are there — week view, month view, or full schedule.
- See your published shifts for this week and the next
- View the full schedule (yours and the team's) when your manager allows
- Get notified when the rota changes
- Print your week if you prefer paper
Swap shifts without a WhatsApp pile-on
Need to swap a shift? Offer it to the team or ask a specific colleague. They accept in one tap, your manager approves, and the rota updates automatically. No more "anyone cover Friday?" group chats.
Request time off and set availability
Submit holiday or time-off requests with a reason. Tell your manager which days or hours you can't work, so the next rota gets it right first time.
- Request holiday with a reason and date range
- Submit weekly availability for the next rota
- See your remaining holiday entitlement
- Get a notification when requests are approved or declined
Why no app to install?
WorkSchedule runs in your phone browser — Safari, Chrome, anything. There's nothing to download from the App Store or Play Store, no permission dialogs, no 50MB updates. Bookmark it to your home screen and it behaves like a normal app.

FAQs
How do I see my shifts on WorkSchedule?+
Your manager will email you a sign-in link the first time they publish a rota. Open it on your phone, set a password, and your shifts are there. You can bookmark the page to your home screen for quick access.
Is there a WorkSchedule app on the App Store?+
No — and that's on purpose. WorkSchedule runs in your phone browser, so there's nothing to install or update. It works on any phone with a browser, including older models.
Can I see my shifts without signing in?+
No — your shifts are private to you, so you need to sign in. After the first time your phone usually remembers your login.
Can I swap a shift with a colleague?+
Yes. Offer it to the team or request a swap with a specific person. Your manager approves the swap before it's final, so the rota always stays covered.
How do I request a day off?+
In the app, tap "Time off" and choose your dates with a reason. Your manager gets a notification and approves or declines — you'll see the result on your phone.
My manager doesn't use WorkSchedule — can I still use it?+
WorkSchedule is set up by your employer, so you'll need them to sign up first. Forward them this page if you'd like them to give it a try.
